We have had comcast for years and until we got the X1 we never had a problem. The humming noise can be heard from as much as 15 feet away and it is constant.

Called Comcast and they said the HD must be going out come we will replace it. So I did and low and behold the noise is still there from the new box. I think they should maybe install flash drives instead of the HD or make all recordings go to the cloud and be able to be played on demand.

Has anybody have any ideas on solving this issue? Thanks

We had same issue with the new box but resolved it when we use HDMI cables.
