Unlocked phone

I ordered a phone that was marked as unlocked off Backmarket. I use Mint Mobile and the device IS compatible with the network. When I put my Mint Mobile SIM card in, an error message popped up saying "cannot connect to XfinityMobile with invalid SIM". I tried calling Xfinity's customer service and they require a service area zip code. I have never nor ever plan to use Xfinity anything. I just want my UNLOCKED phone to work. How they're allowed to prevent paid off phones from going to other networks is beyond me.

Horrible customer service!!! Too much time spent on automated services to speak to someone in person. They say this call may be monitored yet no one comes but automation. I wish I never had you for my service provider!!! Will be changing definitely

Ai am going to pay $100 for only 2 remotes, nothing was installed, I want a TV connected, but it was not done. Was told to get a roku.ppointment for install

TV still not connected, this was the main reason for the in home visit. The guy said that there was no power to the outlet, I just wish someone would come and connect the TV please.

That you can never get a live agent, if your call goes thru. You have to wait for more than an hour to speak to someone. Horrible customer service.

Xfinity don't care. I've used multiple outlets with no luck !

The price of mobile and Internet bundle is amazing but everything beside that is an F'n NIGHTMARE!!!
I've had credits on mobile and Internet side disappear multiple times. And to deal with their customer service makes me sick to my stomach, when they even let you speak to someone.
A common situation is where the agent lies to you about fixing the problem or issuing a refund.

I wait a few days and when I don't get my refund I have to call again.

I'm then told the previous agent didn't issue the refund but they are doing that for me now, but I have to now wait 20 days lol it's much worse than that on a normal basis. It's a nightmare!!

Paying $202 for a service we NEVER activated and was told that we would NOT BE CHARGEF/BILLED for mobile service UNTil we actually activated the SIMM cards. NOT HAPPY!!! This charge should be COMPLETELY off my bill.. That would be the the RIGHT, PROFFESIONAL action to take by Xfinity. Anything less then that, we may just cancel our WiFi service too and subscribe elsewhere... VERY DISSAPPOINTED!!

User's recommendation: DONT BELIEVE A SALES REP. Get a 2md or 3rx quote on service before purchase. Also, BEWARE costomer service WILL hang up on you if they can not resolve your issue.

Closed out my account and signed up w/ T-Mobile. The difference in customer service is so stark it's hard to describe. Spending a 1/2 hour w/ impossible prompts w/ Xfinity and subsequent 30 minutes for an actual agent (and not helpful once an agent was on the phone)...

I lost my Iphone on 1/8 & promptly phoned xfinity for a replacement phone.
I have no LAN line & have daily appointments w/ necessary use of Lyft/Uber.
I was informed by the chat agent (the only way to contact given the no phone situation). I was then put through a 'Groundhog Day' of repeated questions at every step of the way w/ no resolution.

When I finally received a 'perceived' resolution, I was told there was a $180 deductible. Not ideal, but hey, that's how it goes. I was informed I would be receiving the new phone after 2 days for insurance review purposes.
After being curled up in a ball crying w/ no contact w/ anyone I contacted again for the status (after canceling daily Dr. appointments b/c don't have a car & need to use Lyft or Uber).

I was informed insurance didn't cover the phone so I was SOL. I would have gladly replaced the phone immediately if I had a doubt of their 'good' intentions. Their customer service is the WORST.

I had to CONSTANTLY reiterate I had no phone after being told during chat to contact their 855 # for further info. WTF?

I very much want your xfinity stream in our new home. We moved and xfinity still is an app on tv. I was told no service here/, You were the only one we wanted.
