I've been a loyal customer for over 7 years. Never ever had an issue when going in to upgrade my devices.
Mind you, I've been upgrading and paying all of my devices off before getting a newer device. Well, I went in to get my Iphone 13 pro max that I paid in full upgraded to an Iphone 14 plus and was told I have to pay the full amount. When asked why, the store agent said something about my core account which is my residential account (internet/cable) being behind a month. So a month of behind payment in April 2022 which was when I was laid off during covid and get back on my feet 2 months later and set up auto pay to get it back in track and suddenly 7 years of good standing with only a month behind due to something that was out of my control has gotten my "device payment limit" decreased to where I can no longer get a device with monthly payments but have to buy it out right for $1000.
Nice Comcast/Xfinity whatever you wanna call yourself. Well done!!

Preferred solution: Answers to my questions. Why am I just now hearing about this "device plan limit" when I have never had to go through it since I started service with Xfinity
User's recommendation: Run because that is what I am doing. It's sad because we've had comcast forever and a simple thing has made them lose a loyal one
