Hi! I've been trying to figure out how to reset my Xfinity remote, but I couldn't find clear instructions on how to do it myself.

Can you please guide me on how to reset the Xfinity remote?

To reset your Xfinity remote, follow these steps:
1. Remove the batteries from your remote.
2. Wait for at least 30 seconds.
3. Put the batteries back in, ensuring they are inserted correctly.
4. Press and hold the "Setup" button on the remote until the LED light blinks twice.
5. Enter the code "981" using the number buttons.
6.The LED light should blink twice again, indicating the remote has been reset.
That's it! Your Xfinity remote should now be reset and ready to use.

Should this company have a class action suit? The service and help is unacceptable, and they force you to use automated prompts which only forces consumer to go online or text with digital assistant. Texting trying to get help is painfully frustrating.

Customer Service is No Service. For those that have handicaps no assistance is provided.

So again forced to physically visit store. Which when scheduled appointment is made, only to show up and be told several customers ahead of me. And wait time is 30-45 minutes. After spending 2 hrs on the phone with a rep, who was terrible. Then next day spent over 2 hours chatting with digital assistant, ultimately no resolution and complete waste of time. So I schedule physical visit. Unacceptable, Unethical, and should be held accountable for pain and suffering directly caused. Plus cost of time.

I really hate to hear you’re going through that but you know in my experience I would expect nothing less of Xfinity and now I’m getting a something I supposedly owe. I want something because I’m a law customer. I have not been a customer of theirs for 56 years I have an outstanding bill of $651 because they overcharged me and won’t talk to me and I will not pay it. I am going to try customer service and see if they cannot do something about this stuff. I’m tired of getting it. I’m so sorry if I were you I would just stream everything it’s cheaper anyway good luck.
